The word Crossruption is a combination of two words, Cross and Disruption. The Cross represents the life, suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Disruption in business terms as defined by Clay Christensen is a concept where a product or service starts initially as an outlier providing less than ideal solutions but progressively dominates to remove established enterprises.
The life of Jesus is an unique historical event that presents a life disruption principle. Son of a carpenter, born in a cattle shed, geographically from an insignificant town, despised by the religious system, embraced by the outcasts of society, called the friend of sinners, accused, abused, discriminated, racially profiled and left for dead! This Man who was the stone that the builders rejected became the chief cornerstone and has for the last 2000 years led a movement that has shaped human progress. One Man took on the established system and propelled a Person led movement that has shaped human civilization and history.
How did He do it? All through history the focus has been the actions and activity of man to follow and please God. Jesus introduced a new paradigm where who we become takes precedence over what we do. Jesus set in motion a new methodology where the actions and activity of man are only a consequence of who we become. Jesus put it this way,
Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
The consistent of teaching of Jesus is when the inside is clean, the outside WILL ALSO be clean. If the fruit is bad, that is a reflection of the tree. Fruits cannot be fixed if they are bad, we need to fix the tree to fix the fruit. IF there is light, it will shine. If there is no shining, then it means there is no light. This is a cause and effect principle that Jesus introduced.
Instead of focusing on how to improve behavior, Jesus births a new nature. Paul put it this way,
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:Â The old has gone, the new is here!
Conventional Christianity tries to fix the external, biblical Christianity births a new creation in humanity, transforms the mind to the mind of Christ, WHEN this happens, the lifestyle of Jesus flows through as a consequence!
Crossruption is an invitation to a journey to understand and answer fundamental questions of Who am I, where did I come from, Why am I here and where am I going. It is a disruptive journey of getting back to who we were meant to be. There is an inner longing for fulfillment inside of all of humanity that is a permanent constant irrespective of external variables. Whether we are from the First world or the Third world or any of the world’s in-between, we all know that there is more to life than what we have or do not have. There is a cosmic vacuum inside all of us that longs to be filled. We try to fill this inner longing with achievements and possessions and we wonder in pain as to why nothing fills the inner vacuum.
Crossruption is a guide to a journey of being connected back to our Source. The Source is a Person. Moving away from belief or unbelief and entering into a relationship with the Person of God Himself. It is an inter-dimensional journey where the human mind can cognitively experience God.The inner emptiness of humanity can only be filled through man partaking in the divine nature of God.
Crossruption is a journey in exploring human spirituality. It is the Cross that bridges the gap between belief and behavior by providing an authentic spiritual re-birth and spiritual communion with God Himself. The Cross opens the methodology for man being adopted back in the family of God and man experiences sonship identity with the embrace of the Father as an experiential reality in the inside of man. The cosmic black hole which man finds himself in and tries to fill that black hole with things and people is filed with God Himself and man experiences an inner rest in the midst of external unrest! There is an inner constant that man experiences that rests in man irrespective of any external variables. This is the mystery of the Cross experienced by man. This is not a metaphor. This is not a belief. This is an on-going transformational experience as a consequence of belief!
There is no greater purpose than to experience God as a reality in the inner sanctuary that exists in all humanity. There is communion, communication and companionship with the supernatural in the natural. When the individual experiences Love, he or she becomes love and therefore they express love. When the individual experiences Peace, he or she becomes peace and therefore they express peace. The external expression becomes a consequence of an inner experience. Doing does not define the being, the being defines the doing.
Crossruption outlines the methodology of how humanity can regain their spirituality. God living in us was never meant to be believed, but God living is us was meant to be literally experienced as a consequence of belief. There is a literal inter-play between the spiritual dimension of God and the mind of man which transforms the mind of man to the mind of Christ and consequently the body expresses the internal transformation. This is biblical Christianity. When there is external actions due to internal transformation, they are consistent. They are not circumstantial. They are not locational. They are emotional.
If you have been tired of trying to act like a Christian, trying to please God, being someone on the outside and someone else on the inside, seeking for true spirituality, having achieved everything in the body and mind still longing for that something more….join the Crossruption journey!
Crossruption becomes a journey and the journey becomes the destination for humanity!
